Service Specialist I / Job Site Safety Leader (JSSL) - Frac Acid

Compensation Information
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

***$1,500 Sign-On Bonus Available***

  • Position is eligible for a $400/month stipend when based out of Williston, ND.
  • 2 weeks on 1 week off schedule  *Halliburton reserves the right to adjust schedules based on industry needs.
  • $45/day Per Diem or paid living accommodations during scheduled working time. 
  • Employees are responsible for their own travel to and from Williston, ND for their work rotation as well as their own transportation to and from the Halliburton facility for each workday. 
  • Sign-On bonus is subject to certain conditions and approvals by area leadership. 

Job Duties

  • Serves as the onsite safety coach and partner to crew leadership.
  • Promotes a proactive safety culture that identifies and reduces hazards and at-risk behaviors.
  • Supports compliance with HSE and HMS standards, policies, and work methods.
  • Assists with hazard identification, risk mitigation, and updating task specific JSA’s.
  • Monitors high risk activities and intervenes when unsafe conditions or behaviors are observed.
  • Reinforces proper PPE usage, restricted area management, and safe work practices.
  • Exercises Stop Work Authority when necessary to protect personnel, equipment, and operations.
  • Must be knowledgeable of HMS, HSE standards, work methods and guidelines.
  • Promotes and takes an active part in quality and continuous improvement processes.
  • Serves as an instructor and subject matter expert resource for Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and 5 Checks to Go (5CTG) processes.

Qualifications

Work Authorization: Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in the United States will not be considered. Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Required.
  • 1.5 years of experience and completion of required competencies for current and next leve required
  • Must possess exceptional skills within the service line and have a general understanding of other service functions.
  • Must be knowledgeable of HMS, HSE standards, work methods and guidelines.
