Job Details

Under general supervision, applies fundamental reliability engineering knowledge to improve the products and services of Halliburton Energy Services. Develops design specifications for technology contracts and performs design for reliability analysis with project teams. Develops test programs and procedures and performs reliability analysis on supplied data. Develop training materials and teach on reliability subjects and contract external consultants for new reliability materials. Develops preferred reliability components list and the reliability database. Develop Reliability centered maintenance for equipment. Publishes technical papers on reliability related subject matters. Utilizes project management skills in the execution of projects. Complies with corporate HSE initiatives and understands and promotes HES's quality directives Job roles indirectly impact the cost and efficiency of operations of products and services of HES. QA/QC of offshore drilling equipment.  

Desirable experience:

LWD/MWD Field engineer (3 years+)

Other relevant technical experience will also be considered. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

In depth understanding of technical manuals, procedures and processes  
Reliability engineering knowledge in design for reliability analysis tools, accelerated testing techniques and data analysis
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electronic drilling  equipment
Good time management tasks prioritization 
Attention to details and data analysis 
Good communication skills.
