Technical Planner - Completion Tools

Stavanger, Rogaland, Norway

Job Description

With strong growth and increasing activity in our Completion Tools department, we are seeking a Technical Planner to join our team. We are looking for a structured and committed individual who wants to make a difference. The ideal candidate is motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute to the continued growth of Halliburton Completion Tools. 

The Technical Planner works closely with HCT Workshops and operations teams to identify and optimize solutions to their specific challenges. This role is an important part of our local team. 

Job description:

  • Plan and manage various SAP S/4 orders. 

  • Prepare shipments to and from locations. 

  • Provide administrative support to the Workshop and Operations teams. 

  • Support the Workshop with purchase requests, service PR/POs, and service order history tracking. 

  • Serve as the main contact for maintenance across HCT workshops, including torque benches, forklifts, cranes, facilities, and other workshop equipment. 

  • Ensure third-party partners deliver according to contract requirements. 

Qualifications: 

  • Trade certificate as a mechanic in automotive, heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery, industrial mechanics, or a related field
  • Relevant experience may compensate for lack of a formal trade certificate
  • Experience from workshop operations, maintenance, or repair of mechanical equipment
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and/or pneumatics is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently in a structured manner, as well as collaborate effectively in a team
  • Focus on HSE and quality in all work performed
