Service Operator - Production Enhancement

Halliburton Production Enhancement has secured more work and is now recruiting Service Operator for a vessel-based position.
We are looking for a Service Operator who identifies with Halliburton’s values: Respect, Collaboration, Safety, Trust, and Integrity.

Job description

  • Taking active participation in offshore operations, particularly in relation to vessel-based pumping services.
  • Ensure flawless operational execution according to company management procedures.
  • Follow-up on daily offshore operations, such as operating and maintaining the equipment. Require operating HP pumps, acid blender, fluid mixing offshore, fluid testing as and when required etc.
  • Must possess good knowledge of HMS standards, work methods and processes. 
  • Occasionally participate in onshore activities at Halliburton facilities when preparing, maintaining, and upgrading of equipment when needed.
  • International assignment as needed and if required.
  • Develop and maintain a strong collaborative spirit in the offshore team.
  • Willingness to learn new skills (multi-skilling) and solution oriented.

Qualifications

  • Offshore Basic Safety Training, valid health certificate and seaman health certificate
  • Technical education, preferably within mechanical or petroleum.
  • Relevant offshore and Well Stimulation vessel experience.
  • Experience with operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment and/or control systems is an advantage.
  • Strong collaborative skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Excellent English writing and verbal skills. Norwegian speaking/writing is an advantage.

Personal qualities

The position requires that you execute on the Company's HSE procedures, as well as internal processes. You set high standards towards safety and have capacity to work with different nationalities and cultures.

The candidate must have good organizational skills and be able to handle a complex and challenging working environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with offshore and onshore personnel as well as customer relations will be important factors.  Willingness and flexibility to learn new skills will be highly important to the role as crosstraining to understand/be able to support other job functions than the Operator’s specific role must be expected.

Candidate must also be motivated to work on the vessel.
