Halliburton sin avdeling Sperry opplever økt arbeidsmengde og har i den forbindelse behov for verkstedsteknikere. Sperry verksted utfører vedlikehold på L/MWD sensorer. Vi jobber med korte friste for klargjøring av utstyr til offshore operasjoner samt meget strenge krav til kvalitet og sikkerhet.

Presentation/teaser to the position:
Halliburton’s Sperry Drilling department is experiencing increasing workload and needs R&M Maintenance technicians. Sperry R&M workshop performs scheduled maintenance on L/MWD sensors. Daily we are tasked with short deadlines to supply operational needs and work with pride and focus to be the best in Safety and Quality.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum two-year related workshop experience
  • Basic knowledge with 5s and process improvements
  • Able to handle both Norwegian and English as working language
  • Experience from downhole drilling equipment maintenance would be preferable

Job Duties

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Under strict supervision, performs repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool electronics and other equipment used in the application for down-hole tools, including Directional/ RSS or M/LWD sensors.
  • Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
  • Areas of specialization may include: mechanical aptitude, electronics aptitude, computer skills, assembly and disassembly of tools associated with PSL equipment, or Measure while drilling and/or Logging While Drilling down-hole tools.
  • International travel will be required

Qualifications

  • Requires a technical school certificate, or equivalent.
  • An associate degree or higher is preferred.
