Job Description

We are seeking experienced Field Engineers to join our Measurement While Drilling (MWD) team. In this dynamic and flexible role, you will work closely with customers at offshore rigsite locations, delivering high-quality services that align with our core values: Safety, Trust, Collaboration, Integrity, and Respect.

Job description
You will be responsible to deliver services physically at an offshore installation.
The main tasks are:

  • LWD/DD/SDL service including tool preparation, BHA assembly, Pick-up/Lay down Plan
  • Inventory control Offshore dealing with Equipment load outs and backloads
  • Proactively interface with Gas System for SDL department
  • Daily interaction and reporting to onshore operations team
  • Delivery of service in accordance with company HSE standards and expectations


Qualifications

  • Offshore experience in MWD/LWD, DD, Data Engineering, or Wireline is an advantage
  • Halliburton MWD experience is highly desirable
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematic
  • Valid offshore safety and health certification
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in a Scandinavian language is preferred.


Personal Attributes

  • Strong team player with excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Comfortable with practical mechanical and electrical tasks in the field
  • Highly organized and committed to championing HSE procedures.

Additional Information

  • Candidates based in the Stavanger area or willing to relocate are preferred
  • Onshore assignments may be required
