Senior QA/QC Inspector - Associate QA/QC Coordinator

Job Duties

  • Under broad direction, supervises and performs inspection of various site operations activities.
  • Manages department throughput and keeps track of aging Quality lines pending inspection
  • Captures non-conformances in incoming materials and collaborates with accountable departments to ensure timely corrective actions
  • Leads daily Quality morning meetings and conducts Gemba walks with team members and leadership
  • Oversees calibration and outsourcing of active test equipment to maintain accuracy and compliance
  • Performs final inspection on tools assembled by the Production team to ensure quality and specification compliance
  • Generates reports of conditions found during inspection activities, notifies operations and Quality Assurance/Quality Control management of significant problems, completes documentation necessary to attest to satisfactory completion of inspection or test activities.
  • Will assist in developing, deploying and monitoring company established quality management goals, objectives and performance measures.
  • Will make recommendations and implement improvements to the company's quality management program.
  • Performs CMM programming, setup, and dimensional inspection of parts.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a high school diploma or GED and a minimum 3 years of experience is required.
  • 5-8 years of experience which includes Quality and/or Industry experience is preferred.

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.  Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Senior QA/QC Inspector, or Associate QA/QC Coordinator.
