QA/QC Inspector - Senior QA/QC Inspector

Job Duties

  • Under broad direction, supervises and performs inspection of various site operations activities.
  • Perform inspection and testing of incoming electrical components, assemblies, and subassemblies against drawings, specifications, and standards
  • Read and comprehend wiring diagrams
  • Terminate, label, ground, insulate and route wiring harness proficiently
  • Perform solder per IPC-A-610 requirements
  • Perform electrical tests such as continuity, insulation resistance (megger), hi-pot, functional, and basic performance testing
  • Use electrical inspection and test equipment including multimeters, clamp meters, hipot testers, and test fixtures
  • Verify calibration status and proper use of inspection equipment
  • Captures non-conformances in incoming materials and collaborates with accountable departments to ensure timely corrective actions
  • Oversees calibration and outsourcing of active test equipment to maintain accuracy and compliance
  • Generates reports of conditions found during inspection activities, notifies operations and Quality Assurance/Quality Control management of significant problems, completes documentation necessary to attest to satisfactory completion of inspection or test activities.
  • Will assist in developing, deploying and monitoring company established quality management goals, objectives and performance measures.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a high school diploma or GED and a minimum 3 years of experience is required.
  • 5-8 years of experience which includes Quality and/or Industry experience is preferred.
  • IPC-A-610 certification or trained professional preferred
