Electro/Mechanical Technician - Senior Electro/Mechanical Technician

Job Duties

  • Performs routine and some non-routine testing/analyzing processes with demonstrated proficiency. Has some latitude for problem-solving.
  • Works under general supervision for repetitive tasks, and under direct supervision for new tasks.
  • Receive, identify, and inspect incoming materials (PCBs, subassemblies, cables, connectors, hardware) against drawings, specifications, and PO requirements.
  • Assemble small electronic/electromechanical units per work instructions, schematics, and BOMs.
  • Proficient with basic inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, pin gauges) and electrical test equipment (DMM, hipot/continuity).
  • Proficient with defect identification: solder joints, component orientation/polarity, FOD, cosmetic acceptance, connector quality, wiring/cable routing.
  • Ability to sit/stand at a bench for extended periods; fine motor work with small components.
  • Work in ESD‑controlled areas; use microscopes/inspection lighting as needed.
  • Use PPE and follow company safety policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Skills typically acquired through 1-2 years working in a related technician capacity.
  • IPC-A-610 workmanship standards (Class 2/3)

Work Shift

(DAYS) Monday-Friday, 6:00am-6:00pm
