Drill Bits Application Engineer ​

Job Duties

Under general supervision, coordinates the work and activities of Operator Assistants and Service Operators at the job site. Performs pre- job calculations as required. Obtains pertinent service work information from the customer and effectively communicates appropriate information to assigned worksite staff. Communicates pre-job and on-the-job progress to customer. Recognizes possible sales opportunities for the Company's other products and services and communicates information to Service Coordinator or appropriate Company staff. Trains and provides guidance to Service Operators and Operator Assistants in the proper performance of equipment and associated paperwork and/or reports. Confers with Service Coordinator on major decisions. Completes appropriate documents, reports, and forms that affect the financial results of the business unit, (field ticket, etc.). Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical or STEM Engineering discipline.

  • 3+ years of experiencein drilling operations,drilling services, or bit-related roles.

  • Understanding of drilling fundamentals and data interpretation.

  • Advance English Level proficiency.
