Overview

Under general supervision, provides technical assistance and analysis during planning and execution of Product Service Line (PSL) operations for customers, maintaining the highest levels of professionalism, safety and service quality. Works on value add projects through collaboration with both internal and external customers based on technical knowledge and developments to deliver solutions to meet their requirements and Halliburton's commercial expectations, considering both the price of the solution to the customer as well as the total cost to Halliburton to deliver it. Applies engineering, mechanical and geological principles to articulate more complex data interpretations to customers from proprietary software and collaborates with clients through the entire well cycle from drilling to completion scenarios independently. Actively completes training and competency assignments to pursue growth and development within the PSL career path and Halliburton organization. Fosters teamwork among all personnel involved in the performance of work activities, and supports the development of less experienced operators and/or technical personnel. Shares learning and advertises successes by writing, publishing and presenting case histories and industry papers (for example, Society of Petroleum Engineers-SPE).

Job Duties

Join the team building and running iEnergy® ‐ the world’s premier petrotechnical cloud environment. Landmark’s Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team is responsible for architecting, engineering, operating, and securing the cutting‐edge, multi‐cloud iEnergy® SaaS platform used to deliver Landmark and partner industry‐leading cloud solutions. Contribute to an environment where science, engineering, large‐scale cloud computing, and modern DevSecOps intersect. Main responsibilities: Participate in all security investigation activities, meetings, conference calls. Orchestrate comms and meetings during inflight security live events, organize the triage efforts to ensure the teams have the rights resources, status updates are clearly and consistently communicated, and that issue comes to a successful completion. Managing compliance initiatives including scheduling, ticketing of deliverables and remediations, and tracking cross-functional dependencies. Maintain security checklist for SAAS products. Responsible of the security RCA. Perform security reviews, identify gaps in security architecture. Support Security Analysts by performing incident response activities (containment and eradication) when escalation is needed. Design and maintain defense strategy framework. Perform penetration testing

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role or roles that provide a significant overlap of skills required to perform day-to-day job functions
  • 5 years of experience in compliance and security strategy definition
  • Experience in Tools Administration supporting large Organizations
  • Azure and AWS Knowledge or experience
  • Hands-on experience in firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
  • Experience with SaaS solutions
  • Ability to keep cool and very well organized under pressure
  • Ability to quickly understand & summarize technical issues and solutions to technical and non-technical audience
