  • Advanced degrees (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) in relevant disciplines are highly desirable and will be considered favorably.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven experience in embedded hardware development for harsh environments (e.g., oil & gas, aerospace, defense), including system-level modeling, simulation, and validation.
  • Expertise in digital and analog circuit design, including:
    • Microcontrollers, DSPs, FPGAs
    • Signal conditioning, ADC/DAC systems

  • Familiarity with lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, spectrum/network analyzers, electronic loads, and impedance analyzers.
  • Experience in automated test and measurement systems, including programming in LabVIEW and/or MATLAB for data acquisition and control.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced R&D environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, innovation mindset, and ownership of technical deliverables.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese.

Preferred Attributes

  • Prior experience in research and development (R&D) environments.
