About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Interaction Design Manager to lead our Brazil UX studio and help shape the future of digital experiences across Landmark's portfolio of enterprise applications.

This role combines people leadership, design excellence, and strategic partnership with global product and engineering teams. The successful candidate will elevate the quality of interaction design, mentor designers, drive design system adoption, and help redefine complex industrial workflows through modern UX and AI-assisted design practices.

Excellent spoken and written English is required, as this role collaborates daily with global teams across North America, Europe, and Latin America.

Job Duties

Studio Leadership

  • Lead and grow the Brazil UX team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and design excellence.
  • Coach and mentor designers across all levels of experience.
  • Establish high standards for interaction design quality, execution, and delivery.
  • Manage team workload, priorities, hiring, and professional development.

Interaction Design

  • Lead the design of complex enterprise software focused on usability, efficiency, and workflow optimization.
  • Translate ambiguous business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interaction designs.
  • Ensure consistency across products through the Tecton Design System.

Product Partnership

  • Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering throughout product discovery and delivery.
  • Facilitate design workshops and collaborative ideation sessions.
  • Drive user-centered decision making through research, validation, and iterative design.
  • Influence product strategy through strong UX leadership.

Design Systems

  • Champion adoption and evolution of the Tecton Design System.
  • Identify reusable interaction patterns and scalable design solutions.
  • Collaborate with design system teams to improve components, documentation, and governance.

AI & Future Design

  • Explore and integrate AI-assisted design workflows.
  • Leverage modern design tools to rapidly generate concepts and prototypes.
  • Help define future interaction paradigms for AI-enabled enterprise software.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend opportunities to improve design velocity and quality.

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience in UX, Interaction Design, or Product Design.
  • Leading or managing design teams experience.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating complex enterprise software or SaaS applications.
  • Expert-level interaction design and information architecture skills.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and product organizations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Expertise in Figma and modern design workflows.

Preferred

  • Experience leading distributed global teams.
  • Experience with design systems at enterprise scale.
  • Experience with AI-assisted design tools and workflows.
  • Background in industrial software, engineering, manufacturing, energy, or other complex enterprise domains.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
