Job Duties
Position Summary
- Responsible for designing, testing, and integrating analog and digital PCBs toward the development of a Halliburton wireline tool;
- He/She will work closely with the Engineering team, Scientists, and the Project Manager at the Halliburton Technology Center in Brazil (HBTC).
- He/She will collaborate with Halliburton development teams based in the US and Singapore.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or similar areas with sufficient experience.
- A Master’s or Ph.D. degree is desired.
Experience
- Experience with complex embedded systems development for harsh environments (oil & gas, aerospace, defense applications, etc.). including hardware modeling, simulation, design, and testing.
- Design and analysis of analog and digital electronic systems (passive and active analog filters, power amplifiers, A/D and D/A converters, memory access/control, communication protocols, etc.).
- Develop PCB designs using CAD tools (PADS, Altium Designer, etc.)
- Well-versed in utilizing circuit simulators (LTSPICE, PSPICE, etc.)
- Experience with laboratory measurement systems (oscilloscopes, electronic loads, impedance and network analyzers, etc.).
- Experience with LabVIEW/MATLAB programming to control laboratory systems (data acquisition systems, signal generators, power supplies, signal conditioning systems, etc.).
- Ability to innovate, self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership, strong teamwork, and adaptability
- Experience in R&D is desired.
- Fluent in English.
