Job Duties and Qualifications
- Responsible for assembling and testing electro-mechanical systems targeting the development of a Halliburton wireline tool;
- He/She will work close to the engineering team, scientists, and the project manager at the Halliburton Technology Center in Brazil (HBTC).
Qualification
- Mechatronics, electrical, electronics technician or similar areas with sufficient experience.
Experience
- Experience assembling and testing systems with mechanical & electrical components;
- Competent in printed circuit board assembly, repair, and testing;
- Demonstrated ability to perform functional and qualification tests for devices and subsystems in high-temperature & high-pressure environments;
- Experience with assembling test benches for systems testing and integration;
- Familiarity with using lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, power amplifiers, power supplies, etc.);
- Previous experience working in R&D projects in the oil & gas industry is desirable;
- Ability to innovate and think outside the box, self-starter, self-motivated;
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, critical observation, and communication skills are required;
- Fluent in Portuguese & English (desirable).
