Project Manager - Digital Engineering Transformation

Pau, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France

Job Description

We are looking for the right people — people who want to innovate, achieve, grow and lead. We attract and retain the best talent by investing in our employees and empowering them to develop themselves and their careers. Experience the challenges, rewards and opportunity of working for one of the world’s largest providers of products and services to the global energy industry.

Job Duties

Lead a multi-year digital engineering and well operations transformation program in the Oil & Gas sector. Drive the delivery of advanced engineering workflows and AI-enabled platforms, ensuring technical excellence, governance compliance, and stakeholder alignment. Act as the bridge between client stakeholders, internal teams, and external vendors to deliver a unified, production-ready solution and support operational adoption.

Key Focus Areas

  • Program Delivery & Multi-Workstream Coordination — Manage diverse technical and digital workstreams (trajectory design, casing & tubing, hydraulics, API integrations, data migration, AI/ML modules).
  • Integration & Cloud Deployment — Oversee seamless integration of engineering platforms, enterprise systems, and cloud environments.
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance — Enforce rigorous governance: change control, risk checkpoints, QA/QC gates, security/privacy standards, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management — Serve as primary liaison across client stakeholders, internal teams, and third-party vendors. Facilitate workshops, requirement clarifications, and vendor coordination.
  • Deployment & Operational Rollout — Lead user onboarding, UAT cycles, training, pilot deployments, and go-live readiness; monitor adoption and ensure operational success.

What Success Looks Like

  • Projects delivered on time, within scope, and to specification.
  • Governance and reporting standards upheld (steering-committee updates, KPIs, milestone tracking, change control).
  • Smooth orchestration across technical domains and teams.
  • High-quality deliveries passing QA/compliance before release.
  • Successful deployment, user adoption, and operational hand-over.

Qualifications
