Senior DME Inspector - DME Coordinator

Job Duties

  • Under broad supervision, this role is to inspect, maintain, and rebuild a variety of Discharge Manifold Equipment (DME).
  • Responsible for the inspection and NDT process for the location re-qualifying DME including, visual, limited ultra sonic, MPI, and pressure test.
  • Responsible for the accurate completion of documentation that is produced within the DME re-qualification process.
  • Responsible for the QA/QC, final check, input and accuracy of data into Halliburton's system of record for the re-qualification of DME.
  • Assists in the supervision of the DME re-qualification process.
  • Responsible for mentoring junior inspectors and DME technicians. 
  • This role is responsible for following specific and detailed work processes within the Halliburton Management System (HMS) during daily job activities.
  • Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
  • Performs own work and provides assistance to others as directed.
  • This role requires a very high level of attention to detail, and analytical approach, and a good understanding of document control.

Qualifications

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required, associates degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in oilfield operations which includes 5 years experience in the inspection of Discharge Manifold Equipment to ASNT II (or Equivalent) is required, and must hold current qualification to ASNT II (or Equivalent) for UT-ultrasonic, MT-MPI, VT-visual and PT-pressure testing.

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.  Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Senior DME Inspector, Discharge Manifold Equipment Coordinator, or Maintenance Supervisor.
