Job Duties

With general autonomy, responsible for managing the entire product life cycle from planning to execution in support of organizational strategy and objectives. Identifies market opportunities, translates opportunities into product design, and drives marketing strategies that result in a successful product/brand launch. Manages the product profitability (e.g., budgeting, expenditures, return on investment, etc.) and ensures product objectives are met. Partners with product development and marketing teams to ensure that customer needs/values are incorporated into product design, branding, and marketing approach. Works with client, internal resources, and stakeholders to establish Service Level Agreements for product and service delivery. Ensures the business line organization meets its technical, business, and operational performance targets through the development of staff, the realignment of skills and the use of offshore & outsource development where appropriate. Ensures product team incorporates security practices into the product lifecycle in alignment with business line security standards and processes. The job role is independently accountable for a large staff, support arm of the organization, or a single profit/loss or revenue center of a major product line. Requires an undergraduate or Bachelor's degree in Science/Mathematics/Engineering and 12 years of experience in oil and gas which includes experience in strategy, operations, and management. A master's degree or Ph.D. in Science/Mathematics/Engineering is preferred.
