Technical Professional - Software Devloper Associate

Are you a technology head with a desire to be at the forefront of innovation?  Optime - A Halliburton Service, is growing, and we’re looking for a Project Engineer specialized Software to further strengthen our technological spearhead.
What You’ll Do:
  • Be a key part of multi-phased technology innovation projects, taking part in all life-cycle phases of innovative products.
  • Be responsible for requirement definition and verification of software engineering.
  • Create high-quality and intuitive software in Optime’s proprietary control system suite, CW.
  • Be responsible for developing back- and front-end HMI solutions to control systems.
  • Be responsible for relevant documentation (Source code documentation, Network topologies, I/O lists, test procedures etc.)
  • Take part in verification and validation of software, both in a lab environment and during system commissioning.
  • Work closely with customers and suppliers, ensuring requirements are understood and met.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Both newly educated and experienced software engineers
    • Proved work experience can be assessed in the absence of formal education
  • Good knowledge and experience within one/more of the following (or other OOP languages):
      • C
      • C++
      • C#
      • Python
      • SQL
  • The ability to balance technical risk and quality in a high-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams both technically and non-technically
  • An adaptable engineer who thrives in creative environments and understands that change is a part of an innovative process
  • Experience within oil & gas is a bonus, not a prerequisite
