About You
We are searching for a practically oriented candidate with experience in quality control and qualification work. You are comfortable performing reviews, inspections, initiating stop‑actions when needed, investigating deviations, and carrying out final inspections of products and systems.
Your main responsibilities
- Execute testing on our sub-assemblies and system assemblies
- Participate in troubleshooting of our products
- Establish and prepare the need for test equipment according to test procedures
- Work closely with Project Engineering on Quality requirements that must be implemented and carried out
- Contribute and give feedback to improve our products, procedure and processes to ensure lean and quality-based production
Key Requirements
- Experience in a test engineering role is essential, and knowledge related to testing, troubleshooting, tools, and equipment used for Oil & Gas products is an advantage
- Preferred Higher Technical Vocational Education – relevant experience may compensate for formal education
- Preferred knowledge of IPC 610, IPC 620, ESD & J‑STD 001
- Key Knowledge Areas:
- RS 485 Protocol testing
- RS 232 Protocol testing
- Modbus & CAN Bus testing
- Microcontroller testing
- AutoCAD or similar
- Experience and knowledge of Hydraulic Schematics, Electro Schematics, PCB Schematics and Single‑line diagrams
- High technical understanding and strong ability to learn
- Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and oral

- You work in a structured manner and maintain good overview
