Duties
Duties:
Responsibilities include: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Logging and Perforating surface and downhole equipment; work directly under a General Maintenance Professional L&P to implement knowledge and experience in maintaining logging equipment and tools; visit field locations when needed to help solve equipment's operation problems; follow up on equipment in repair at external facilities; communicate with Technical Services when needed; provide training, assessment, and mentorship to less experienced maintenance professionals; promote and ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), and Service Quality (SQ) standards, practices and guidelines.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Maintenance Professional, Senior - L&P related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
Skills
- Experience soldering/unsoldering passive and active electronics components such as resistors, capacitors diodes, integrated circuit and field-effect transistors.
- Experience in surface mount microchips as part of board level troubleshooting on surface panels and downhole equipment.
- Experience with reading Electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams needed for identifying issues in offshore units, panels or downhole tools work incorrectly and rewire entire wireline tools according to diagram as needed.
- Experience troubleshooting component level electronics in conjunction with reading wire diagrams to resolve Graphic User Interface issues.
- Experience redesigning surface panels and downhole tools to improve performance.
- Experience troubleshooting well-site issues in offshore oil fields.
Wage Offered: $92,747.00/year
