Job Title:                                                Field Prof-General, L&P Seismic

Job Location:                                         719 Hangar Dr, New Iberia, LA 70560

Duties:                                                             

Responsibilities include: Apply expert knowledge of Halliburton's Seismic logging products and technology to provide technical and operational expertise to external customer. Responsible for pre-job planning, job execution, post job analysis and overall performance of company assets on most complex projects. Actively participates in the training and development of operators and Associate Field Professionals in areas of expertise. Promotes and ensures compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Service Quality (SQ) standards, practices and guidelines. Domestic and international travel required 40% of the time.

JOB INFORMATION

Requirements:                                         Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or Field Prof-General, L&P Seismic related role.

Position requires experience in the following:

  1. Experience in field logging operations to achieve formation evaluation and petrophysical property evaluation.
  2. Experience with foundational mechanical skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, pressure, rotating equipment, pulley systems and bearings and aptitude to apply foundational skills in hands on experience. Usage or knowledge of hydraulic systems, troubleshooting issues related to said system, leak detection in hydraulic/pneumatics systems and knowledge of forces as related to systems listed above.
  3. Experience with foundational electrical skills in electronics theory and distributed electricity and aptitude to apply foundational skills in hands on experience. Basic knowledge of circuits, Ohms Law, and ability to read electrical meters for resistance, voltage, and capacitance.
  4. Experience using foundational mechanical and electrical skills to troubleshoot issues such as faulty systems, and determine if repair or replacement is required.
  5. Experience with checkshots, Vertical Seismic Profile and 3D VSP and salt.

Wage Offered: $204,000.00/year
