Well Site Supv, III

Job Duties

  • Responsible for Halliburton (HAL) contractual operations at the well site under broad direction.
  • Leads the most complex and high-risk well projects.
  • Understands well services operational objectives and takes appropriate actions to achieve them.
  • Ensures accurate reporting and protects the health and safety of employees, contractors, and the public from operational hazards.
  • Protects the environment from damage resulting from well site operations.
  • Demonstrates strong HSE leadership through active participation in HSE audits, inspections, and reviews in accordance with the HSE Plan.
  • Coordinates product service lines and third-party subcontractors to deliver the engineered well design.
  • Supervises day-to-day field operations at the well site.
  • Provides direct supervision and guidance to junior well site supervisors.
  • Prepares and maintains a documented 7-day look-ahead plan for equipment, materials, and personnel requirements on a daily basis.
  • Acts as a matrix manager for HSE and logistics personnel at the work location.
  • Participates in and facilitates incident and near-miss investigations.
  • Validates the closure of corrective actions and tracks outstanding audit items.
  • Oversees equipment move-in, rig-up, rig-down, and move-out activities.
  • Directs and manages well operations processes.
  • Ensures field operations are executed within agreed timeframes and cost objectives while meeting well services goals.

Qualifications

  • Requires a high school diploma.
  • Requires a minimum of 15 years of industry experience, including at least 10 years in operations management.
  • Requires a Supervisory Well Control Certificate.
  • An undergraduate degree is preferred.
