Shift Foreman - Operations Superintendent (201422)

Job Duties
- Under general supervision, the individual performs aspects of planning and scheduling of plant manufacturing operations.
- Ensures task training is completed and in compliance with Mine Safety and Health Administration/Occupational Health and Safety Administration (MSHA)/OSHA requirements.
- Duties include monitoring various tasks going on within the plant and progress according to the schedule.
- The Foreman is responsible for deployment of resources and effective use of personnel to meet production demand for the shift.
- They ensure that all manufacturing and quality procedures are adhered to and that jobs are completed and meet all Service Quality parameters.
- They participate in and carry out process improvements as directed.
- They ensure adequate communication between shifts is carried out and all activities are clearly relayed to the oncoming shift and Shift Foreman.
- Job tasks performed correctly directly impact safety, health and environmental performance, efficiency of the operation, cost containment and profitability.
