Senior Talent Development Specialist - Southeast Asia

Job Duties

Job Purpose

The Talent Management & Development Specialist supports the development and execution of talent strategies across Southeast Asia. Working closely with HR and business leaders, this role drives succession planning, leadership development, talent reviews, workforce capability initiatives, and career development programs to ensure a strong pipeline of talent for critical operational, technical, and leadership positions.

Key Responsibilities

•    Implement talent development and leadership programs aligned with business objectives.
•    Facilitate talent reviews, succession planning, and high-potential employee development across SEA.
•    Partner with Product Service Line (PSL) leaders, Country HR, and business stakeholders to identify capability gaps and development priorities.
•    Support leadership pipeline and bench strength initiatives for critical operational and technical roles.
•    Analyze talent and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to leaders.
•    Advise HR and business leaders on talent management, career development, and organizational capability best practices.
•    Coordinate learning and development initiatives that support operational excellence and workforce readiness.
•    Track program effectiveness, talent metrics, and succession readiness to drive continuous improvement.
•    Provide mentorship, guidance, and knowledge sharing to HR colleagues and less experienced team members.
•    Ensure compliance with company talent processes, policies, and governance standards.

Qualifications

Requirements

•    Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field.
•    Min. 4 years of experience in Talent Management, Leadership Development, Organizational Development, L&D, or HRBP roles.
•    Experience supporting multi country populations within Southeast Asia.
•    Strong experience in succession planning, talent reviews, leadership development, and people analytics.
•    Experience within oil & gas, energy, engineering, manufacturing, or other technical industries is highly preferred.
•    Excellent stakeholder management, consulting, facilitation, and communication skills.
