Senior Project Controller

What You Will Do:

  • Establish and maintain financial control over projects, ensuring cost efficiency, budget adherence, and accurate forecasting
  • Take ownership of monthly project financial reporting in close collaboration with Accounting
  • Ensure timely project invoicing in accordance with contractual T&Cs
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insight and recommendations to project managers and leadership
  • Develop and implement financial reporting structures to ensure transparency and accountability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, operations) to assess project financials and manage risk
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within project execution

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (relevant experience may substitute)
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably as Project Controller within the Oil & Gas sector
  • Excellent understanding of project controlling and estimation
  • Advanced Excel skills (Microsoft Business Central, Power BI and SAP experience is a plus)

Personal qualifications:

  • Structured, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Excellent collaboration skills and a positive, team-oriented approach
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Motivated to continuously improve processes and drive future growth
  • Flexible, precise, and able to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities
