QA/QC Inspector

Job Duties

Under direct supervision, the sucassful candidate will :

  • perform quality evaluations of standard and routine processes and products in accordance with chemical product specifications, engineering drawings, prescribed methods, and work instructions.
  • Conduct inspections of operational activities and chemical samples within a laboratory environment.Identify, document, and report non-conformances to established standards using appropriate measuring and testing methods.
  • Perform final product adjustments when required.
  • Generate detailed inspection and test reports, communicate significant quality issues to Operations and QA/QC management, and complete all documentation necessary to verify satisfactory completion of inspection and testing activities as per inspection plan.Oil-Based Mud (OBM) formulation and QA/QC testing, as applicable.
  • Initiate and process Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Ensure all products and processes meet defined quality, safety, efficiency, and reliability requirements.Participate in internal and external ISO 9001 quality audits and actively support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor in Chemistry or relevant field is preferred.Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required.2–5 years of Quality and/or industrial manufacturing laboratory experience preferred.Knowledge of inspection techniques, quality documentation, and testing procedures is an advantage.
