US International Tax Manager - Senior Tax Manager

Job Overview

Under broad direction, manage the US international tax function.  This includes US related compliance, provision, planning, and audit support for foreign operations

Job Duties:

  • Technical expertise in US income taxation of international business operations including a working knowledge of Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, DCLs, and FTCs
  • Technical expertise in US income taxation of corporations including corporate reorganizations
  • Broad knowledge of accounting for income taxation under US GAAP and more in-depth knowledge of the impact of US income taxation of international operations on the tax provision
  • Experience in reviewing business operational activities and accounting records, identifying income tax issues, researching applicable tax law, reaching technical conclusions, and communicating conclusions verbally and in writing
  • Experience in reviewing relevant tax forms including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, and 1118
  • Experience in defending income tax return positions under audit by the Internal Revenue Service
  • Experience in developing relationships and working collaboratively across various departments and areas of the business
  • Responsible for career development and coaching of personnel

Job Qualifications:

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field
  • 7 years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and competency
  • Excellent personal communications skills and ability to work in team environment a must


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Advanced degree in accounting, taxation, or law preferred
  • Applicable professional certification preferred
  • Experience using OneSource Income Tax and Tax Provision preferred
