Job Duties

With general autonomy, provides leadership of global or regional HSE or Service Quality programs. Provides direction and oversight to program management processes, maintenance of program competencies, training and HMS documentation. Ensures strategic direction is in alignment with overall organization direction and maintains alignment with HSE/SQ regulatory and industry standards. Initiates, prioritizes and justifies various projects, processes, and/or initiatives supporting strategic direction. May lead or initiate cross functional teams in developing, prioritizing, justifying and implementing various corporate HSE/SQ initiatives. Requires an undergraduate degree in an HSE-related field, Science, Engineering, or Business Management, and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Professional certification preferred.

Duties:                                                             

Responsibilities include: Provides leadership of Global HSE Explosives Safety Programs. Provides direction and oversight to program management processes, maintenance of program competencies, and Halliburton Management System documentation. Ensures strategic direction is in alignment with overall organization direction and maintains alignment with HSE/SQ regulatory and industry standards. Initiates, prioritizes and justifies various projects, processes, and/or initiatives supporting strategic direction. Lead cross functional teams within the product service lines, manufacturing and support functions in developing, prioritizing, and implementing various corporate HSE/SQ initiatives. Provides training to local and Region Explosives Safety Officers and conducts audits and inspections in locations across the globe. Interfaces with Manufacturing & Technology, Procurement & Materials, Corporate Security, Legal, Internal Assurance Services and operations personnel at all organizational levels, acting as an advisor and to a lesser extent as an auditor and instructor. Works closely with product and service line management to monitor and support obtaining necessary licenses and permits, incident review and response, development of training programs and associated materials. On a quarterly basis reports to the Global Explosives Safety Committee (Executive level) on key performance indicators.

Requirements:                                         Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Program Manager QHSE-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

  1. Experience in the energy services industry including operational experience in Wireline and Perforating including, maintenance, service delivery, asset and materials management, and operations management.
  2. Experience implementing and leading local safety programs, assuring regulatory and internal process compliance.
  3. Experience identifying potential risks to process reliability and safety and developing strategies to effectively mitigate issues.
  4. Experience in internal audit and assessment processes.
  5. Experience implementing internal systems and projects to improve process efficiency and compliance.
  6. Experience with technologies such as Appian, Power PBI, Story Line and Excel Macros.
