Treasury Analyst - Treasury Manager

Job Duties

  • Under general supervision, performs credit and related functions in order to manage customer credit risk of Halliburton’s North America customer base
  • Responsibilities include but not limited to: 
    • (1) credit management, including annual, periodic, and ad hoc credit reviews of assigned countries/regions
    • (2) assisting in onboarding new customers via Halliburton’s credit application and approval process
    • (3) decisions concerning customer credit risk, review and assessment of exposures to North American customers
    • (4) negotiating and arrange issuance of letters of credit, bank guarantees, and escrow agreements
    • (5) managing month end close process, working with Order to Cash and Collections teams to release credit blocked sales orders
    • (6) produce various routine and ad hoc reports regarding account receivables, days sales outstanding, and credit risk exposure
    • (7) document credit transactions and assist in responding to accounting issues that arise. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.
  • Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Business or Finance and 3 years of experience
  • Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher-level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirement, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available from the Treasury Analyst, Senior Treasury Analyst up to Treasury Manager
