Timeseries Modeling Specialist (Senior - Advisor)

The ideal candidate will focus on developing timeseries models for fracturing applications, leveraging advanced AI and ML algorithms. This role requires expertise in transformer models, deep learning, LSTM, survival models, autoencoders, autoregression, and other cutting-edge techniques.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement timeseries models for fracturing applications
  • Utilize advanced AI and ML algorithms, including transformer models, deep learning, LSTM, survival models, autoencoders, autoregression, and more
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into production systems
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to derive actionable insights
  • Optimize model performance and ensure scalability
  • Work with Azure cloud services and Databricks for data processing and model deployment
  • Utilize Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in timeseries modeling and fracturing applications
  • Expertise in advanced AI and ML algorithms such as transformer models, deep learning, LSTM, survival models, autoencoders, autoregression, etc
  • Proficiency in neural network packages like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc
  • Proficiency in cloud services, specifically Azure
  • Experience with Databricks and Apache Spark for data processing
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with deep learning timeseries modeling using generative AI algorithms
  • Familiarity with big data platforms and tools
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI

Education:

  • Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • Physicists with strong data expertise are also acceptable
  • Skills typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Science, Engineering or similar discipline, and 4 years of related experience. Completion of a masters or PHD in Science or Engineering is preferred

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher-level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirement, and/or (3) buesinss needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available from Senior Scientist Physics, Principal Scientist Physics up to the Advisor Scientist Physics
