Job Duties and Qualifications

Responsibilities include: Provides direction for the Technical Software Architecture. Serves as a corporate resource, providing technical direction and advice to management in long-range planning for new or projected areas of software application. Design, research, and develop new applications and major enhancements. Provides expert guidance to developers and support staff. Provide a strong technical focus in product planning for a complete software system. Participates with management, product line, and customers in developing new applications and technologies. As a gatekeeper of the technology this individual communicates and educates the staff about the current state of the technology and the future directions. Establish and maintain communications with external technology efforts such as industry and academic consortia. Works with offshore teams as required.  

Requirements: Employer will accept a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 10 years of experience in the job offered or in a Tech Advisor-Software Dev, Sr – related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following: 
1.    Experience with cloud technologies platform (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS models) and familiarity with cloud native services, to facilitate digital transformation.  
2.    Experience with Microsoft technologies, Microservices, API design and development to help decompose monolith systems. 
3.    Experience with Microsoft development tools such as: C#, .Net CORE, and ASP.NET. SPA and Frontend development in Angular required. 
4.    Experience with software development in object service-oriented design and design patterns usage in mid-to-large size applications. 
5.    Experience with Event driven design and distributed system architecture. 
6.    Experience writing unit testing, integration testing for code quality and feature development. 
7.    Experience collaborating with Enterprise Architecture teams to design scalable, high-impact product features and solutions. 
8.    Experience directing and monitoring the work of other developers across large scale development projects. 
9.    Experience assisting in the hiring/coaching developers and providing technical leadership.

Additional Information

Wage Offered: $150,000.00/year
