Tax Supervisor - Tax Manager - Finance

Job Duties
- Operates with a high degree of autonomy to support tax reporting, compliance, audit, and planning activities, applying a strong understanding of relevant statutory guidance and its application to financial (general ledger) data.
- Leads the preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 (US GAAP).
- Identifies and implements opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance data quality and efficiency.
- Supports the financial close process, including account reconciliations, tax return preparation, and the collection and analysis of relevant accounting guidance and tax technical research.
- Prepares technical memoranda to support tax positions taken in financial statements and statutory filings for management review.
- Evaluates and identifies tax planning opportunities to optimize the company’s effective tax rate and cash tax position.
- Supports SOX compliance through the identification, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of internal controls within the tax function.
Qualifications
- Requires an undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years related experience.
- CPA license preferred.
