SAP Plant Maintenance Analyst

Job Duties

  • Under strict supervision, responsible for the development, maintenance, and/or support of application(s) in an assigned technology, major system, or functional area (e.g., process simulation, document management, payroll, etc.).
  • Provide assistance in analysis work by undertaking specific/assigned research and fact finding missions.
  • Performs specific/assigned programming tasks for new or enhanced systems based on specifications provided.
  • Participate in selected aspects of system documentation, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Begins learning about the project setup/support for various applications often involving performing project setups, analyses, designs, etc., for/with customers. Similar duties are often associated with the installation and configuration of applications licensed from third parties.
  • Performs own work and provides assistance to others as directed.
  • Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization.
  • Error is readily ascertainable by the supervisor and can be corrected.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, MIS or similar discipline required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Analysis, Design, Programming, Product Selection and/or Maintenance.
  • Co-operative education, summer work or industry exposure desirable.

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.  Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including IT Applications Analyst/Dev I or IT Applications Analyst/Dev II.
