Job Duties

  • Under broad direction, collaborates cross-functionally to support stakeholders in the area of hazard communication, regulatory compliance, and registration of chemicals and biocides
  • Provides expert consultation to assist in internal and external inspections, audits, assessment, and other regulatory compliance activities for chemicals and biocides in the scope of applicable jurisdictions.
  • Interprets, communicates requirements, develops and executes strategies for hazard communication, transportation and storage requirements, and regulatory compliance in collaboration with operating business units, regions, and support functions.
  • Collaborates in the creation, implementation, and oversight of the Chemical Stewardship Management System to meet the needs of company standards and jurisdictional regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Requires an undergraduate or Bachelor's degree with studies in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Health Sciences or equivalent science or technical fields (STEM).
  • Requires 10 or more years of relevant experience in regulatory support and/or hazard communication using GHS and HTUS principles, with demonstrated advancement in responsibilities.
  • A master's degree or Ph.D. in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Health Sciences or equivalent science or technical fields (STEM) is preferred.
  • Certification as a Professional Certified Industrial Hygienist (or equivalent), DOT (or regional equivalent), IATA, and IMDG certification may be required.
