OTC Analyst

Job Duties

  • Develop analytical reports that assess performance based on globally defined Order-to-Cash (OTC) standards
  • Collaborate with the OTC Manager, Lead Analyst, and fellow analysts to produce highly accurate reports reflecting a thorough understanding of OTC processes such as invoicing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution
  • Reconcile analytical data to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of performance metrics
  • Assist OTC leadership in the design and implementation of new globally used metrics and performance dashboards
  • Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reporting and OTC operational efficiency
  • Provide onboarding and process-specific training to new or junior OTC team members through individual or group sessions
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI) to compile, analyze, and visualize complex data sets
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of OTC processes and data analysis methodologies
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments such as Finance, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure alignment on reporting needs and OTC practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP and business intelligence tools
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Willingness to learn and support continuous improvement efforts within a global framework
  • Previous experience in data reporting, reconciliation, or metric development is a plus
