As the Marketing Manager for Low Carbon Solutions at Halliburton, you lead strategic marketing initiatives that support the company’s new energy business goals. You are responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, managing high-profile industry events, and driving brand visibility for Halliburton’s low-carbon technologies, including carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS), geothermal energy, hydrogen, direct lithium extraction (DLE) and other new energies.
Job Duties
- Under broad direction, the Marketing Supervisor is able to define and deliver high-level, strategic solutions that result in the successful promotion of Halliburton's brand and products and services.
- The role works with specific groups in marketing and communications, and the marketing teams within the regions, divisions and product service lines to develop, implement, maintain and report on marketing programs that have the potential to directly influence Halliburton's bottom line around the world.
- This role provides high-value professional expertise and influences large-scale projects and project teams to define and reach specific marketing goals and obtain the greatest value on marketing investments.
- This position will advise on the best method and resource allocation to implement defined programs and, if necessary, suggest/select the appropriate vendor or agency.
- This function is responsible for administering policies, processes, and practices to maintain quality service levels and to streamline workflows within Halliburton Marketing & Communications.
- This role is critical to the successful cross-flow of marketing information between the product service lines and divisions.
- This role is able to work independently in many cases to support or direct a team on assigned projects for regions, service lines, or divisions in one or more defined areas of expertise, including: Creative Services, Branding, Events, Divisional and Regional Marketing, Technical Marketing, and Digital Marketing.
- The Marketing Supervisor is able to work comfortably with middle and senior management in order to direct and guide the planning, development, and execution of multiple major programs and campaigns simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement marketing strategies that align with Halliburton's low-carbon business objectives.
- Collaborate with Product Service Lines (PSLs) and executive leadership to position Halliburton as a thought leader in the energy transition space.
- Lead content development for digital campaigns, social media, and external communications, ensuring alignment with corporate branding and legal compliance guidelines.
- Develop product launch campaigns and lead execution of a wide variety of tactics, including press release development, advertising, collateral development, social media content, website content development, executive talking points and sales presentations.
- Plan and execute Halliburton’s presence at major energy transition industry events.
- Coordinate speaker nominations, booth presentations, and sponsorship deliverables, often working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Serve as the primary liaison for event organizers, managing logistics, speaker prep, and post-event follow-ups.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal teams, including Demand Generation, Communications, and Product Marketing, to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign execution.
- Support executive and technical teams in preparing for speaking engagements, media interactions, and customer-facing opportunities.
- Track and report on campaign performance, event ROI, and digital engagement metrics to inform future strategies.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to extract insights from web traffic, form submissions, and lead generation activities.
Qualifications
- Requires completion of an Associates degree in Marketing, Communications, or Liberal Arts.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public affairs or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing and communications, preferably within a PR/marketing agency and/or experience in energy or industrial sectors.
- Proven success in managing large-scale events, cross-functional teams, and external partnerships.
- Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects for multiple stakeholders with limited supervision.
- Experience working with customers and advising senior management.
