Inventory Planner - Lead Inventory Planner Lead

We are seeking a high-impact Inventory Planner to support our Demand & Inventory Planning Transformation. This role is critical to execute North America Planning activities for a business unit, improve inventory efficiency, and strengthening alignment between demand, operations, and financial performance.
The Inventory Planner will drive data-driven decision-making, execute standardized planning processes, and proactively manage inventory risks—including slow-moving inventory, redeployment opportunities, and forecast misalignment—to improve service reliability and optimize working capital.
You will be part of a strategic transformation that is redefining how inventory planning supports the business—leveraging data, technology, and stronger cross-functional alignment to drive measurable impact on performance and cost.
What You'll Do
- Optimize inventory to balance per business outlook
- Lead slow-moving and surplus inventory analysis and drive corrective actions (redeploy, return, scrap)
- Identify and execute redeployment opportunities across locations
- Partner with Demand Planners & PSL teams to improve forecast alignment
- Use data and inventory planning tools (e.g., SAP, CCH Tagetik) to drive exception-based planning
- Contribute to standardized processes and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with strategic vendors (internal and external) to reduce lead times, create stocking strategies, mitigate past dues and stockouts
Profile and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 3–7+ years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain, or operations
- Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, inventory optimization, and root-cause analysis
- Experience with ERP and inventory planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, CCH Tagetik)
- Ability to manage complex datasets and translate insights into actions
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders
