Integrated Asset Management Technical Director

Job Duties

Responsibilities:
•    With general autonomy, leads and directs a senior, multi-discipline petrotechnical team to support the evaluation and development of large- scale oil and/or gas field development projects to be considered for investment or already contracted by Halliburton. 
•    The Technical Director provides direction to Technical Managers and Sr Managers managing individual asset teams. 
•    The Technical Director effectively interfaces with Business Development, Commercial, and Asset Management counterparts
•    Major responsibilities include organization and management of a core team of senior geoscientists, petroleum engineers, technicians and economists to support the required evaluations. 
•    Additional responsibilities include implementing best practice processes to support the efficient and effective evaluation, well engineering, and field development planning work required as part of the project development process. 
•    Provides effective coordination of technical resources working in other Halliburton Product Service Lines and Regions to support analyses of new opportunities and oversight of assets under development. 
•    Ensures the technical quality of work related to such evaluation and project field development planning work is both accurate and timely. 
•    Conducts oversight and peer reviews of active asset developments

Qualifications:

•    Requires an undergraduate degree in Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering or other applicable Engineering disciplines.
•    Minimum 20 years of relevant industry experience, including management experience.
