Global Finance Manager - Landmark Software and Services

Job Duties and Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Landmark global accounting team
- Serve as a trusted business advisor to global business leaders on financial performance and commercial business insight
- Influence strategic decisions and prioritize investments
- Work with global and local business leaders to improve financial performance
- Plan, forecast, and manage global support costs
- Collaborate with accounting peers from regions/countries, technology, and technical accounting
- Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of financial activities within the department, including executing financial close activities, reviewing and updating business practices, performing internal control self-assessments, preparing forecasts and annual business plans, and performing ongoing process improvements.
- Interpret and apply company policy and accounting principles to financial transactions for internal control and GAAP compliance
Requirements:
- Software industry experience required, including cloud-based software-as-a-service business models
- Eight years of progressive experience in finance or accounting related roles, preferably supporting senior business managers
- Accounting or business university degree
- Professional accounting certification and/or MBA preferred
- Leadership experience in managing people and teams
- Strong knowledge of common office environment, SAP, and Hyperion/Essbase
- Project management skills
- Awareness of financial performance metrics such as return on capital, operating margin, free cash flow, and economic profit and how they apply to SaaS and software businesses
- Strong knowledge in aspects of finance and accounting, internal controls and risk mitigation, company policy, financial analysis and statutory reporting, forecasting.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams across a global, matrix-based organization
