Director, IAM Commercialization

Job Duties and Qualifications:

•    With general autonomy, leads and supervises the Integrated Asset Management (IAM) Commercialization staff in the evaluation and negotiation of potential oil and gas acquisitions and divestitures, analysis and approval of major capital investments, and assessment of ongoing oil and gas asset operations. 


•    The role is responsible for:

* Evaluation and assessment of oil and gas investment opportunities

* Sourcing and engaging with Private Equity firms and Drilling JV’s; forming LLC’s; and understanding Legal, Finance and Accounting implications
* Evaluation and delivery of complex external finance mechanisms and detailed execution of specific project financing
* Leadership of decision and risk analysis including risk management of commodity prices through hedging recommendations and analysis
* Taking the lead role in negotiation of potential oil and gas acquisitions, divestitures and major investments and also serving as key coordinator with the Law Department in preparing documents related to such activities  


•    Requirements for the role include:
* A full and complete understanding of oil and gas economics with 
* The capability to review and potentially propose large, complex models
* Familiarity with the major commercial structures for oil and gas fields around the world including Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs), Technical Services Contracts (TSCs), Concessions and U.S. Mineral Rights


•    The role shares responsibility, as member of the Integrated Asset Management leadership team, for establishing goals, contributing to long term strategy, and guiding successful performance of the group. 
•    Job role has budgetary type accountability or directly impacts a revenue center’s viability or its quality of service via person contributions and contributes directly to value creation.

Qualifications:
•    Requires an undergraduate business degree and a minimum of 20 years of experience, including a minimum of 10 years in financial analysis and general finance.  
•    Experience in the Exploration and Production sector is a requirement 
•    An MBA is preferred.
