Chief Product Manager/Director - Subsurface G&G

Job Duties and Qualifications

Subsurface: Our portfolio is transitioning rapidly to lead our space to include new and emerging hardware and software technologies such as AI, Real time, and GPU’s. We are looking for a thought leader to develop the next generation of our subsurface portfolio

  • Under general autonomy responsible for management of our Subsurface product family with revenue potential in excess of $100M within the Technology Business Line, from a position as a recognized industry thought leader
  • Lead the transformation of our portfolio by introducing and accelerating the use of emerging technologies such as AI/ML, LLM, and agents.
  • Leads the business justification and business model while being accountable for the plan of record
  • Responsible for the successful development of new products as well as the product life cycle management for their assigned products
  • Accountable for solution(s) adhering to application security standards and requirements
  • Delivers regular updates to Solution and Domain Owners on security metrics of solution (s)
  • In coordination with Research and Development, prepares the overall business strategy, investment model, vision and scope of the product
  • Working with sales and operations ensures that rollout occurs smoothly, including training and initial strategic deployments
  • Establishes partnerships and relationships with internal and external customers, third parties and industry thought leaders
  • Accountable to bring in funded development when appropriate, identify new product and business opportunities and industry and competitor changes that may require new strategies or revisions of the business plan
  • Participates in industry associations, organizations and consortiums, including attending events, contributing to publications and providing thought leadership
  • Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Science/Mathematics/Engineering and 10+ years of experience in oil and gas which includes experience in product management. Completion of a graduate degree in Marketing, Science/Mathematics/Engineering required
  • Position has ability to hire up based on the below: 
  • Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.
