Overview: As a business analyst with Halliburton, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, focusing on gathering requirements, analyzing data and facilitating communication among stakeholders. Job Role & Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Support the development of long-term strategic plans and corporate initiatives
- Evaluate potential M&A targets, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships
- Build detailed financial models to assess the viability and impact of potential deals
- Perform valuation analyses including DCF and comparable company analysis
- Analyze financial statements and forecast future performance
- Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including deal structuring and negotiations
- Coordinate due diligence efforts across internal teams and external advisors
- Utilize strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and processes to identify issues and propose solutions
- Prepare board presentations and executive summaries
- Build strong partnerships and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Work closely with finance, legal, tax, operations, and other departments
- Ensure alignment and integration of strategic initiatives across the organization
- Support post-merger integration planning and execution
Educational Requirements:
- Requires an undergraduate degree, preferably in a technical discipline, plus an advanced degree in Marketing, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent
- Must have a minimum of 2-4 years’ practical experience
