Accountant - Senior Accountant

Job Duties
- Understand the company’s business systems, processes, and controls, including policies and procedures for the assigned location and department
- Prepare accounting reports and increasingly complex accounting analyses, including related spreadsheets or application inputs
- Identify, research, and resolve basic accounting issues and transactions, ensuring adherence to internal controls
- Prepare and post journal vouchers for accounting transactions
- Understand the organizational structure of the company
- Develop proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and financial applications
Qualifications
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting-related roles
- Knowledge of US GAAP or country-specific accounting principles
- Demonstrated ability to handle moderately complex aspects of general accounting and internal controls
- Ability to develop intermediate-level proficiency with industry and company-specific business processes and applications
