Job Duties
Delivers Instructor-led training (classroom/virtual), technical job training and direct product sales or business development training for internal and external customers. Supports course design and development/updates of training content or curriculum based on individual business need. Coaches less experienced instructors and supports the Lead technical Instructor and Training Manager in managing the training calendar and training spending. Designs and develops skill demonstration exercises applying knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, engineering, programming, or business development. Ensures the correct/safe use and handling of department tools and equipment. Conducts assessments of course objectives vs. student performance, diagnosis of performance gaps and integration of competencies in course curriculum. Maintains class information to include student attendance and scores on Halliburton's learning management system.
Qualifications
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in a Technical Instructor, Prin-related occupation.
Position also requires experience in the following:
- Experience in the design, configuration, and installation of virtual remote training solutions including video, communications, and system integration.
- Experience in delivering in-person and virtual remote technical wireline operations technical training program content to internal and external personnel.
- Experience with coaching less experienced instructors and supporting lead instructor or manager with training calendar and training spending.
- Experience with Reservoir Description technology, project (job) planning and execution, including expertise in fluid sampling, fluid identification, and pressure analysis.
- Experience with supporting course design, developing updates, and creating creative solution for virtual training content or curriculum based on individual business needs.
- Experience in design, preparation, and Execution of Formation Evaluation Wireline services, including imaging, formation evaluation, pressure analysis and fluid sampling.
- Experience with ensuring correct/safe sensor calibration, use and handling of department tools and equipment.
