Material Coordinator Warehouseman (I - II) - Supply Chain

Job Duties and Qualifications

Job Duties:

  • Under direct supervision, responsible for ensuring timely materials goods movements, accurate and appropriate storage and movement of products and inventory accuracy.
  • Also responsible for other daily operations functions of the warehouse which includes various clean-up and housekeeping activities. 
  • Basic computer skills and use of appropriate applications.
  • Must be able to utilize SAP to access and process transactions related to materials and problem resolution.
  • Unloading freight, checking for damage, and verifying the quantity and quality of the order
  • Packaging and weighing items, printing shipping labels and postage, and organizing inventory for easy retrieval and proper storage
  • Arranging for transportation of products, preparing documents like work orders and bills of lading, and tracking, tracing, and updating the status of shipments
  • Maintaining records, engaging with vendors and drivers, and distributing products to other departments.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Two-year degree and 1 years' work experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience and certification preferred. 
  • Experience working in an operations environment is preferred, including knowledge and use of handheld scanners and lift truck certification.
  • Preferred skills to include multi-tasking, attention to detail, and work experience in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Job will also require the performance of other duties and activities as directed.
