Job Duties
- Under direct supervision, completes engineering drawings when given general requirements or instructions.
- Proficient in creating proper part CAD models.
- Creates product structures in PDM systems.
- Utilizes automated design programs, design group, and company drafting standards and procedures.
- Familiar with industry requirements associated with assigned product/service line.
- Acquire basic knowledge of inspection techniques, machining, materials, components, and their application.
- Constructs check layouts or assembly drawings as directed. Incorporates reliability, HSE and Quality analysis techniques during the design process.
- Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined.
Qualifications
- Skills typically acquired through the completion of an Associate's degree in drafting or similar discipline and 2 years of related experience or through 4 years of related drafting experience.
