Administrative Specialist

Job Duties

  • Under general supervision, works within a specialized function with work verified on an as needed basis.
  • Reads and interprets documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and service orders.
  • Manages permits and registrations for equipment working in the South Central area.
  • Coordinate with appropriate personnel to establish permitted routes and understand timing for crew moves.
  • Supports various PSLs (product service lines) to ensure equipment and light duty vehicles have current license plates, registrations and permits.
  • Writes routine reports and correspondence.
  • Requires ability to speak effectively with groups of customers or employees of organization.  
  • Requires ability to perform basic numerical, statistical, and/or financial analysis.
  • Applies common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Requires 4-5 years of experience.

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Administrative Specialist or Senior Administrative Specialist.
