Job Duties
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in tax reporting, compliance, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic understanding of the Internal Revenue Code or applicable statutory authority and its application to financial (general ledger) data.
- Experience supporting tax computations with guidance from senior team members.
- Familiarity with tax law and accounting provisions, including assisting with statutory filings and tax return preparation.
- Ability to support Tax Managers during audits and in responding to inquiries or notices from tax authorities.
- Exposure to compliance and/or tax provision activities is preferred.
- Knowledge of indirect taxation concepts and best practices for preparing and submitting documentation to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).Ability to perform federal, international, and/or state tax research as needed.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA or equivalent) is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
