About the Role
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for leading the development, technology and lifecycle management of one or more product families within Boots & Coots.
This role provides leadership across product management, technology development, commercial strategy, and operational deployment to ensure successful delivery of innovative solutions aligned with PSL and business objectives. The position works closely with engineering, operations, manufacturing, sales, and executive leadership to define product vision, prioritize investments, and drive market adoption.
The Senior Product Manager also plays a key role in shaping long-term product strategy, supporting funded development opportunities, and ensuring products deliver operational value, service quality, and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of assigned product families within Boots & Coots.
• Define product vision, business strategy, investment priorities, and roadmap alignment with PSL objectives.
• Drive development and commercialization of new technologies, products, and service offerings.
• Partner with engineering, operations, manufacturing, and commercial teams to support successful product rollout and operational adoption.
• Support pricing, packaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies for product portfolios.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to support customer engagement, training, and product success in the field.
• Lead or support cross-functional initiatives related to technology development, service quality, operational improvement, and strategic growth.
• Manage departmental priorities, budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation to support business and technology objectives.
• Evaluate market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to identify growth opportunities and product enhancements.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, universities, industry organizations, and external partners.
• Promote HSE, quality, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives across product and operational activities.
• Support intellectual property development and coordination with legal teams related to patents and technology protection.
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in oil & gas, including experience in product management, technology development, operations, or related leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of well control, pressure control, intervention, or related oilfield technologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving product or technology initiatives.
• Strong commercial, operational, and strategic planning capabilities.
• Experience managing budgets, project priorities, and organizational resources.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred
• Experience within Boots & Coots, pressure control, or emergency response operations.
• Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer (PE or equivalent).
• Experience supporting global product rollouts or technology commercialization initiatives.
• Familiarity with funded development programs, customer partnerships, or strategic alliances.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or similar) is a plus.
